The saga continues as Riddick finds himself unhappy with his position as the Necromonger's Lord Marshal and makes a deal with Lord Vaako for him to take over the position. Riddick plans on returning to Furya, but his plans are quickly destroyed. He winds up being abandoned on a harsh planet, where he needs to fight off creatures like trisons and mud demons. While all this is going on, Riddick also finds himself being hunted by two shiploads of mercenaries. He is once again forced to become the primal hunter he once was.
