McGregor will be playing the villain alongside Natalie Portman, who has the title role. The story follows a woman who needs help in saving her outlaw husband from a gang sent out to kill him. She enlists the help of a former lover, played by Noah Emmerich.
McGregor will be playing the leader of the gang, a role in which both Jude Law and Bradley Cooper dropped out of.
